After-School Art Classes for Elementary Aged Kids

Regular enrichment and exposure to arts is so important for childhood development. During the school year, we offer after-school art classes for elementary aged kids. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with diverse art mediums such as watercolor, oil pastel, acrylic, sketching, crafts, and more during the course. Join us this semester!
- We offer an inclusive 1st – 5th Grade group.
- Classes begin with a whole-group introduction to an art topic, customized and scaffolded based on the age group and skill range.
- All materials will be provided, and no experience necessary to enroll.
2025 After-School Art Classes for Elementary Aged Kids:
Join 1 day a week: Tuition is $150 per month which includes one 90 minute classes per week (modified during months with holidays).
Join 2 days a week: Tuition is $300 per month which includes two 90 minute classes per week (modified during months with holidays).
Drop in for a single class: $42 for one 90 minute class.
- Classes are Thursdays from 3:15 – 4:45 pm.
- Students who are not enrolled for the semester are welcome to drop-in on individual classes through our calendar of events.
- All sales are final, but if you if you miss your class due to an illness you have 2 weeks to reschedule your art class.

Overview for Students First Semester:
Each 90 minute class will begin with a whole-group introduction to an art topic, followed by time to experiment with diverse art mediums such as water color, oil pastel, acrylic, sketching, crafts, and more. Student artwork will be displayed in the art studio, and get to be brought home as a keepsake. Students will be introduced to foundational art concepts such as color theory and studio practices of the mind.
Program Details:
This program is intended for students in Grades 1st – 5th who are looking to experience enrichment and community in the arts. Students will have both guidance from the instructor and creative freedom, while also learning foundational art principles to be able to apply to future artistic endeavors and courses.

If you are located south from San Francisco neighborhoods, we are within a 15-20 minute drive of the following neighborhoods: Parkside, Sunset District(s), Ingleside, Excelsior, West Portal, Twin Peaks, Noe Valley, and Glen Park. If that seems far, keep in mind parking! We have a plethora of easy parking options right in front of our studio that will rival most studios in the city for convenience. You are welcome to drop off your student for the 90 minute duration and venture out to the Peninsula – from local cafes in scenic Pacifica to shopping at Serramonte Center!
