SUMMARY:Grades: 3-5
DESCRIPTION:Mondays and Wednesdays 3:15 pm - 4:45 pm\nEach 90 minute class 
 will begin with a whole-group introduction to an art topic. Students will 
 then have the opportunity to experiment with diverse art mediums such as w
 atercolor\, oil pastel\, acrylic\, sketching\, crafts\, and more during th
 e course. Students will be introduced to foundational art concepts such as
  color theory\, and studio practices of the mind. This program is intended
  for students in Grades 3rd-4th who are looking to experience after-school
  enrichment and community in the arts\, while developing their skills as b
 udding artists! Students will have both guidance from the instructor and c
 reative freedom\, while also learning foundational art principles to be ab
 le to apply to future artistic endeavors and courses. All materials will b
 e provided\, and no artistic experience is necessary to enroll. Regular en
 richment and exposure to arts is so important for childhood development. J
 oin us for these semester courses!\n\n3rd graders who are more precocious\
 , or those with older siblings\, will prefer this class. 3rd graders who a
 re more shy or quiet may prefer the younger group of 1st-3rd grade.\n\n[di
