Enchanted Forest-Summer Art Camp for Ages 6-9

Enchanted Forest: Magic in the Woods
Enter a magical forest as kids paint whimsical toadstools with watercolors, sculpt forest animals with clay, and draw enchanted trees with charcoal. We’ll design fairies, create mixed-media forests, and explore texture, and warm and cool tones.
- This camp is intended for 6-9 years old.
What do I bring?
- Bring any of your own materials you’d like, but we have all supplies here, so this is not a requirement.
- Clothing that you can get messy: Acrylic paints are permanent.

Camp Day Structure
Art Camp, at Bay Area Art School, begins at 9:00 AM, with engaging and fun art activities balanced with short breaks every 50 to 60 minutes to allow children to stretch and reset. Lunch takes place from 11:00 to 11:30 AM, followed by a supervised walking field trip around Sharp Park and sometimes along the waterfront. Depending on the group size, we may explore the beach, though children are never permitted in the water. Art activities resume around 12:30 PM, with another break to move around around 1:20pm. In the afternoon, we wind down with a film at 2:00 or 2:30 PM, depending on the day’s activities, before pick-up at 4:00 PM.
