SUMMARY:Elementary Aged After-School Art Class (1st-5th grade)
DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:15 pm - 4:45 pm\n\n\nEach 90 minute cl
 ass will begin with a whole-group introduction to an art topic. Students w
 ill experiment with diverse art mediums such as watercolor\, oil pastel\, 
 acrylic\, sketching\, crafts\, and more during the course. Students will b
 e introduced to foundational art concepts such as color theory\, and studi
 o practices of the mind. This program is intended for elementary aged stud
 ents in Grades 1st-5th grade who are looking to experience after-school en
 richment and community in the arts\, while developing their skills as litt
 le artists! Students will have both guidance from the instructor and creat
 ive freedom\, while also learning foundational art principles to be able t
 o apply to future artistic endeavors and courses. All materials will be pr
 ovided\, and no artistic experience is necessary to enroll. Regular enrich
 ment and exposure to arts is so important for childhood development. Join 
 us for these semester courses!\n\nOlder students will be able to move more
  independently and be given art assignments more consistent with their ind
